Thursday December 11th at 6 PM!

Calling all book lovers! πŸ“šπŸ»

🌲 December’s Books & Brews: Where the Crawdads Sing 🍻
Get ready for a captivating journey to the North Carolina marshlands! The Seneca Street Brew Pub Books & Brew Book Club’s December pick is the phenomenal bestseller, “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens.
Join us on Wednesday, December 11th, at 6:00 PM at the Brew Pub for a deep dive into this unforgettable story.
About the book:
This novel is a beautiful blend of a coming-of-age story, a love letter to nature, and an intriguing murder mystery. It follows the life of Kya Clark, known to the locals as the “Marsh Girl,” who is abandoned by her family and left to raise herself in the dangerous yet stunning isolation of the marsh.
As Kya grows up, she forms a deep connection with the wild, finding solace and knowledge in the natural world. But when a local golden boy is found dead, suspicion immediately falls on the reclusive Marsh Girl, forcing her to confront a world that has long judged and abandoned her.
The book explores powerful themes of isolation, survival, prejudice, and the fierce resilience of the human spirit.
Connect with fellow book lovers!
Come grab a warm drink (or a cold one!) and share your thoughts on Kya’s journey and the shocking mystery at the heart of the story. Newcomers are always welcome to our friendly and engaging group!
We can’t wait to discuss it with you on December 11th!
